We are very pleased to announce the opening of a part-time internship opportunity with Cambridge University Libraries to work on the upgrading of our Decolonising through critical librarianship platform. The site, launched in autumn 2019 and run by Cambridge library staff, currently holds 19 pages of resources and case studies concerning decolonisation in libraries, with numerous UK and international views and subscribers. The platform aims to provide library staff with information to help support decolonisation activities in Cambridge collections and beyond.
The internship has been made possible thanks to the grant awarded to Decolonising through critical librarianship group by the University Diversity Fund and offers excellent development opportunities. We particularly welcome applications from candidates from a BAME background for this internship as they are currently under-represented at this level in our institution.
The intern will be working remotely and some flexibility in the working pattern can be accommodated. The closing date for applications is Thursday 3 December, 2020.
